2010 Ace & Eagle Academy Giving 48 Young People A Summer They Won't Forget (And Neither Will You!) Benefitting The First
Tee of Nashville ![]() It’s a week of golf and fun that the Tennessee Golf Foundation will provide to 48 young people (boys and girls) from The First Tee chapters across Tennessee and the southeast. The First Tee participants will attend the Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy for a week at no charge (except travel) from Wednesday, July 28 through Tuesday, August 3. Campers will get to play The Little Course at Conner Lane, Vanderbilt Legends Club, The VinnyLinks and Harpeth Hills Golf Course - plus a special donor/The First Tee participant team event, the “Select Shot Challenge,” at The Golf Club of Tennessee on August 2 with their Ace & Eagle Academy week sponsor. This week-long session will give these young people an opportunity to make new friends, attend leadership sessions, have fun at a half day non-golf activity while immersing themselves in golf for six days. Net proceeds from this week of the Academy and The Golf Club of Tennessee golf event will benefit The First Tee of Nashville located in East Nashville in Shelby Park. Since opening in 2001, the chapter has exposed the game and it’s core values to over 1,500 middle Tennessee young people through it’s nationally recognized curriculum. ![]() 2010 Ace & Eagle Academy Opportunities for Donor Participation Weekly Underwriter ($3,000) Sponsorship of one participant attending the Ace & Eagle Academy.
