The weather finally broke at the 43rd Annual Tennessee Section Professional Championship for round two of the 54 hole Championship.  Players were treated to mild temperature and sunny skies after a wet round one. The day started with a one hour fog delay before the sun came out and helped dry the course out.  TPC Southwind still proved to be a tough test with all but one player shooting over par.  Making the biggest move was Brock Shafer from Windyke Country Club who started the day tied for 38th  place and with his impressive 2 under par 69 moved into a tie for 9th.

Holding onto his day one lead Audie Johnson from Lebanon Country Club followed his round 1 score of 69 with a round 2 score of 74 which puts him at a two day total of 143. Going into the third and final round Johnson holds a five stroke advantage over Barney Alary. To round out the final pairing Henrik Simonsen who is six shots back of Johnson will look to erase that and give both playing partners a run for their money. The winner of the 43rd Tennessee Section Professional Championship will take home a check for $6,500 for their efforts over the 54 hole tournament and a spot in the 2012 PGA TOUR St. Jude Classic.  The top five finishers will also receive a birth to the Professional National Championship with the top twenty finishers moving on to the 2012 PGA Championship.  Many players will be fighting to move up the leader board to get their cut of the $38,000 purse.
