Polly Boyd

(1900-1964)

%    Won four Tennessee State Amateur Championships (1920, 21, 22 & 30)

%    1921 Boyd led his Dartmouth team to the National Intercollegiate team title and the following year won the individual title

%    Boyd was president of the Tennessee Golf Association in 1939 and president of the Southern Golf Association from 1950 to 1952

%    Polly Boyd was inducted posthumously into the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame on September 22, 2003 where his son Lew Boyd accepted the honor on his behalf
