2011 Competitions

Tennessee has conducted a statewide junior tour since 1992.  It began as the NORTEL Junior Tour and then became the Vince Gill Junior Tour and is now the TGA Junior Tour.  Girls have always held an important role in the development of the Tour and we try to incorporate as many opportunities for girls as for boys.  Currently girls have 6 age and ability groups to choose from.  Each year we offer some Girl's Only events.  Click Here for more info.

The Tennessee Golf Association is the ruling amateur body in the state.  Each year the association conducts a number of competitions, one being the TN Girl's Junior Amateur or "State Jr" as many call it.  IN 2011, the event is still TBA.  There are two age divisions.  The 10-14 Girls play 18 holes each day from the forward tees and the 15-18 division plays 18 each day from a yardage around 5700 yards.  Each year graduates are recognized.  Click Here for more information.
