To connect girls of all ages who have an interest in the game of golf so they may expand their friendships, playing companions, and knowledge of junior golf opportunities while utilizing the experience of a professional staff.
|

According to the Tennessee Golf Foundation, over 900 Tennessee girls participated in TGF sponsored programs and events in 2010, but many girls feel like they are the only ones playing golf in their area.
|

1. Conduct Fun Activities for girls to learn and play the game.
2. Assist Families in navigating the confusing world of Junior Golf.
3. Be An Organization to mentor any girl who desires to take her game to the next level.
4. Create Opportunities for girls to learn about college golf, scholarships, etc.
5. Provide An Atmosphere where girls feel comfortable with themselves and the game.

The Tennessee Golf Foundation (TGF) has a mission to promote golf and its life-enhancing values with an emphasis on teaching youth and the disadvantaged. Lissa Bradford is the Director of Junior Golf for the TGF and believes that girls fit in both categories as youth and disadvantaged. "As a junior golfer, I played with my Mom or the boys. There weren't many girls my age that played golf, and we were spread out all over the state. Many more opportunities are available for girls today and lots more girls are playing, but I think we can strengthen the connections between the girls and the opportunities. I want to dedicate this site to girls so they can explore the appropriate programs and events and have fun with other girls."
The Tennessee Golf Foundation has several other strong female role models involved as well as female professionals across the state that have the same goals in mind and want to connect with the girls in their area.
