It is with very sad and heavy hearts we inform you that Wilson Terry, PGA has passed
away. He was an outstanding member of the Tri-Cities Chapter and will be greatly missed by all on the Chapter and Section Level.
Wilson grew up in Hot Springs, VA and played several sports growing up. He played baseball, basketball and played golf with classmate J.C. Snead and his brother, Sam Snead. He was a pro prospect in baseball as a catcher, until a motorcycle accident forced him to give up the game. Wilson taught and retired from the Virginia School System before turning professional later in his career. He worked at The Homestead and Andrew Johnson GC in Greeneville, before taking a position at Warrior's Path which he held for 16 years.
Wilson is survived by his wife Becky, son and three daughters. Once we have more information on the funeral arrangements and service we will send out an email. Please keep Wilson's family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time.
