JUSTIN WALKER GIVES HIS FATHER JEFF A GREAT FATHER’S DAY AS
THEY WIN THE 2004 FAIRFIELD RESORTS TPGA FATHER-SON CHAMPIONSHIP
(Fairfield Glade, TN) On Father’s Day, Jeff Walker and son Justin Walker from Springfield win the Tennessee PGA Father-Son Championship at Heatherhurst Golf Club. They won their division and Paul & Bobby O’Brien from Germantown won the other division. The two teams had a 3-hole shootout to crown the overall champion. Jeff Walker sank a birdie put on the third and final hole of the shootout to win the trophy. The format was Stableford; awarding 1 point for bogey, 2 for par, 4 for birdie, and 8 for eagle. The Walkers ended with 180 for their 2 round total and the O’Briens won their division with 165 points.
This year’s event had the largest field in its history. Nearly 220 players came from across the state to Heatherhurst Golf Club to play.
