YAMAHA Pro-Superintendent Championship
(Hermitage, TN) On one of the best November days in Tennessee weather history, Tennessee PGA Professionals teamed with their Superintendents at The President’s Reserve at Hermitage Golf Course. PGA Pro Audie Johnson and his Superintendent at Lebanon Country Club shot –7 under par 65 to win the gross division. PGA Pro Ken Devane and his Superintendent Ben Harbin shot –8 under par 64 to win the Net Division.
Bringing home second place in the Gross Division was Randy Helton and Trey Cutshall from Stones River Country Club after shooting a 66. Richard Rebne and Gary Weller from Council Fire Golf Club shot a 67 to claim third place.
In the Net Division, Patrick Christovich and Andrew Vaughn shot a 65 to take home second place honors. Third place in the net division went to Jeffrey Ketterman and Ken Bramlett from Boot Heel Golf Club.
The TPGA YAMAHA Pro-Superintendent Championship is in its sixth year and has been fortunate to have YAMAHA Golf Cars as its title sponsor. The event combines TPGA Club Professionals with their Golf Course Superintendents in a best ball format. The 6,500-yard par 72 Hermitage Golf Course has been the host facility since the tournaments inception in 1999.
