LOCAL PROFESSIONALS DALE THORLEY, AARON FEYES AND ROB HESSING QUALIFY FOR THE NATIONWIDE TOUR KNOXVILLE OPEN
(Knoxville, TN) The conditions were hard, but not as hard as the new putting greens. Host Professional Dale Thorley (Knoxville) played the 7100 yard par 72 Fox Den Country Club at +2 over par in todays cold, wet, windy conditions. He made a 25 foot putt on hole #18 to claim the low round of the tournament. Professional Aaron Feyes (Lookout Mountain) bogeyed the final hole to shoot +3 over par as he qualified for next months Nationwide Tour Event. Professional Rob Hessing (Selmer) was 1 under par through 13 holes. He finished at +6 over par and collected the third qualifying spot into the Knoxville Open.
Look for these guys during the June 13th-19th Knoxville Open to be held at Fox Den Country Club.
