Houser Wins Senior Section Championship by Seven Strokes

(Hendersonville)  Mark Houser (Kingsport) dominates at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club to become the 2005 Senior Section Championship.  His win also allowed him to jump from fourth to first on the points list and claim the 2005 True Temper Senior Player of the Year.  His -3 under par was good enough to win by 7 shots over Wally Young (Puryear), James Paschal (Hendersonville) and Bobby Bray (Morristown).  All four of these players will represent Tennessee in the Senior CPC National Championship to be played in Florida.  George Newbeck (Maryville) had the low score of the second round at -1 under par.  George is the 1st alternate to play in the Senior CPC if one of the above mentioned gentlemen can not make it.
