Teams from GreyStone Golf Club and Old Hickory Country Club win the
YAMAHA Pro-Superintendent Championship
(Hermitage, TN) It was a beautiful Halloween Day at Hermitage Golf Course. The 7th annual YAMAHA Pro-Superintendent was held and teams from Old Hickory Country Club and Greystone Golf Club came away victorious. PGA Pro Joey Hickman shot a 68 –4 under par with his own ball and superintendent Phil Pressotto helped the team finish at –9 under par to win the Net Division. In the Gross Division, PGA Pro Tom Ludwick and superintendent Brent Heath shot a 68, -4 under par to win.
Bringing home second place in the Gross Division was Pro Greg Robison and Larry Reisenover who lost a scorecard playoff. Pro Scott Hare and Chris Simon shot –8 under par to bring home second place in the Net Division.
The TPGA YAMAHA Pro-Superintendent Championship is in its seventh year and has been fortunate to have YAMAHA Golf Cars as its title sponsor. The event combines TPGA Club Professionals with their Golf Course Superintendents in a best ball format. The 6,500-yard par 72 Hermitage Golf Course has been the host facility since the tournaments inception in 1999.
