 ABOUT

The proceeds of this event will benefit families of soldiers at Ft. Campbell through the following:

  • 75 children from Ft. Campbell, both boys and girls, ages 10-17, will be invited to a one-week session of the Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy at Golf House Tennessee in Franklin in 2011 and 2012 and will attend at no cost to the soldier’s families. This program has been in place since 2004 and had been greatly appreciated by the participants and their parents.
  • The First Tee of Ft. Campbell at Cole Park Golf Course, a new program organized through the Tennessee Golf Foundation. The First Tee program will occur on the big course and at a renovated three-hole executive course across the street. Once fully engaged, hundreds of the base’s children will benefit from the life skills and core values taught through The First Tee’s curriculum.
  • A donation will be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that raises awareness about the needs of severely injured service men and women, helps the severely injured aid and assist each other, and provides unique, direct programs (including golf therapy) and services to meet the needs of the severely injured in middle Tennessee.
