LEDFORD CLAIMS 2009 STATE OPEN TITLE

(Nashville, TN) Bryce Ledford fired a final round 65 (6 under par) to claim the 61st Annual State Open Championship presented by Coca-Cola which was conducted at Gaylord Springs Golf Links in Nashville, TN. First round leader, Steven Fox, claimed low amateur honors with a closing round of 68 giving him a 3-day total of 206(-7), 3 shots back of Ledford. Josh Coley, last years low professional, also finished with a total of 206(-7) placing him in a tie for second with Fox.
