PATTERSON AND STRATTON OFF TO OHIO TO REPRESENT THE TENNESSEE PGA
(Shelbyville TN) Brett Patterson of McMinnville and Lauren Stratton of Spring Hill will represent the Tennessee PGA in next month's 34th PGA Junior Championship at TPC River's Bend in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Patterson, posted a final-round 68 for a two-day total of 134 and a 6-stroke victory over Austin Garrett of Smithville. Stratton, had a final-round 72 for a two-day total of 139 and a 13-stroke victory over Jordan Hollinshead of Old Hickory, TN and Samantha Gotcher of Clarksville, TN who tied for second. Hollinshead ended up finishing in second place after a match of cards.
The Junior PGA Championship is open to one boy and one girl champion from each of the 41 PGA Sections, winners of select national junior tournaments conducted throughout the year and special invitees who have yet not reached their 19th birthdays and who have not started college.
